Hundreds of thousands of Germans are voting with their feet and leaving the country in the hope of finding better prospects abroad.
Indeed according to Reuters, more than 150,000 Germans packed their bags and left in 2004, many of them skilled professionals, representing the greatest exodus in any single year since the late 1940s.
