Drummond Hall, chief executive of one of Britain's biggest companies is stepping down from his £677,000 a year job because he wants to spend more time with his 14-month-old daughter.
The 56 year old Hall, boss of food giant Dairy Crest, said that he wanted to watch his daughter grow up.
"There is nothing untoward about this, but I have just decided to have a change of direction. It's not a decision I have taken lightly," he said.
So thats where the money goes is it?? I wondered why we work for peanuts! Looking around and seeing the glazed over look from drug addiction and alcohol abuse in the staff at dairy crest and the manner in which staff are treated, its no wonder many turn to illegal drugs to keep going. Remaining a sober non drug user in such a place is begining to take its tole. Soon I can look forward to death and be away from this place! £677000 a year? its disgusting! why cant they put the money into the business?
